Our camps help develop young talents in Nigeria and across Africa, build their skills in ball-handling, shooting, defence, passing and overall game situational performance which prepares them to earn a basketball scholarship with any of the 300 Division 1 College Basketball Programs in America so they may eventually get drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA) which is the best basketball league in the world.
The camps are planned in such a way that every child get to choose the best times for them to practice as we have different time slots for our after school camps. Once registered for the camps, the campers get the top of the range OBN custom made gears and basketballs. Branded water bottles and additional items can be purchased from the OBN store.
Yes, college coaches and scouts will be attending our summer camps and tournaments. On a consistent basis, videos of our campers will be viewed online by the college coaches and scouts.
All the camps and tournaments will be recorded with our HD cameras for analysis, online broadcast on our Youtube channel and social media platforms. Campers will also have the opportunity to review practice videos, game videos, etc. Parents will also receive copies of all games.
BASKETBALL CAMP OVERVIEW
OBNAcademy boys basketball camps incorporate small-group training sessions as well as position-specific drills that prepare players of all levels for their upcoming tryouts, league season, and even for the collegiate level.
Camp programs include on-court group sessions that focus on shooting, dribbling, defense, and more. All basketball campers will receive a post-camp analysis report inclusive of coach feedback and important takeaways.
